About the Role
As a Vice President, Commercial Banker on the Climate Technology Banking team, you will be responsible for client acquisition and maintaining relationships with innovative companies. Your tasks will include developing new business, deepening existing relationships, and collaborating with Venture Capital partners. You will also apply your knowledge of the Climate Tech life cycle to assist founders in sourcing capital and champion a culture of innovation while managing risks appropriately.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Strong understanding of Commercial Banking products and services.
- Excellent sales management and business development skills.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Self-directed, proactive, and creative; uses sound judgment and navigates ambiguity.
- FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred.
- Strong committed team player, looking to add to a national team of likeminded, passionate Innovation Economy bankers.
