About the Role

As a Commercial Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating and coordinating the delivery of Public Assistance grant funding, coordinating the applicant’s recovery priorities, participating in site inspections, providing strong customer service throughout the delivery process, and managing the grant delivery process for multiple applicants simultaneously. You will ensure program delivery in a timely, professional, and customer-centric manner that meets all assigned applicant’s recovery priorities.

About You

Required:

2 years minimum of prior Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance (PA) experience.
A bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in a related field; OR 10 years of experience in a related field (without a degree; must have high school diploma or GED).
1-2 years of experience in large commercial construction projects.
1-2 years of experience in eligible types of work such as restoration of roads, bridges, water control facilities, buildings, equipment, utilities, debris removal, schools, churches, parks, and/or recreation centers.
The ability to obtain and maintain FEMA Public Trust.
United States citizenship.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
The ability to deploy to any location in Zone 2 with a 24–48-hour notice after task order award.
The ability to go on 6–12-month deployments at a minimum.
Experience and comfortability using a smart phone.
The ability to work independently, in a team environment, and under stressful conditions with tight deadlines.

Preferred:
