About the Role
As a Commercial Lawncare Spray Technician, you will be responsible for applying fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides to client properties. Your daily tasks will include measuring and preparing chemical solutions, following work order specifications, inspecting worksites, diagnosing plant diseases, operating sprayer equipment, and maintaining safety regulations. You will also communicate with clients about diagnoses and treatments and keep daily application records.
About You
Required:
- Must be at least 18 years of age to work in the field.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Successful completion in the Davey Tree Qualified Plant Health Care Technician training program or ability to obtain qualification within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to complete required safety courses.
Preferred:
- Class B CDL valuable, but not required.
- Applicator licenses acquired as necessary per state requirements.
- Ability to operate mobile power equipment.
