The Jonus Group is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Executive (Healthcare) to join their Healthcare Team in Richardson, TX. The role involves managing a diverse book of business focused on mid-to-large market dental group practices and healthcare organizations.
About the Role
As a Commercial Lines Account Executive, you will manage all aspects of client service, including placement, renewals, and retention strategies for your designated book of business. You will develop renewal strategies, conduct gap analyses, review claims history, and coordinate exposure data. Additionally, you will lead marketing efforts, negotiate with carriers, prepare executive summaries, and facilitate binding of new and renewal policies. The role also includes handling material coverage changes, cross-selling within the existing book of business, and building strong relationships with carrier and wholesale partners.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 7 years in a commercial Property & Casualty brokerage environment.
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Strong knowledge of loss-sensitive programs, alternative risk transfer, and self-insured retentions.
- Experience with EPIC or similar agency management systems.
Preferred:
- Experience in healthcare or professional liability insurance.
- Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to follow structured processes and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain carrier relationships.
