About the Role
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business. Your responsibilities will include coordinating administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues, and maintaining technical competence in the insurance industry. You will lead the account management team, handle customer service requests, manage policy expirations and renewals, and ensure compliance with company policies.
About You
Required:
- 3+ years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
- Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
- Required active property & casualty (P&C) licensing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- High School Diploma (or equivalent).
Preferred:
- Professional designation (CIC or equivalent).
