About the Role
As a Commercial Loan Officer, you will be responsible for providing initial credit screening of new loan opportunities, structuring and underwriting loan requests, and guiding these requests through the delivery channel. You will maintain customer relationships, monitor loan statuses, and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations. Your role will also involve providing financial counsel to clients and advocating for credit requests through presentations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Knowledge of credit principles and concepts, theories, loan structure, and banking products.
Preferred:
- One year or more of Commercial credit underwriting experience.
- Experience with spreading software such as Moody’s, Baker Hill, CreditQuest, or a similar product.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and reading financial statements.
