Summary
AVI-SPL is seeking a Commissioning Specialist to join their team in Greater Cleveland. The role involves final testing and commissioning of complex Audio-Visual systems during and post build.
About the Role
As a Commissioning Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical and management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Your daily responsibilities will include reading and interpreting electronic schematics, testing system functionality, troubleshooting integrated systems, and performing client training. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure project objectives are met and will need to travel to various job sites as required.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient with test and calibration equipment.
- Ability to diagnose complex system problems.
- Knowledge of advanced signal flow for audio, video, and control.
- Understand IP networking.
- Valid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standards.
Preferred:
- Formal education in Electronics or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of AV Installation experience.
- Experience with Enterprise VC solutions (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.) both hardware and software.
- AVIXA General CTS (Certified Technical Specialist) certification.
