Summary
OhioGuidestone is seeking a Community Based Therapist for Franklin County to provide diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, therapy, counseling, and support services for a diverse caseload including adults, adolescents, and families.
About the Role
As a Community Based Therapist, you will work under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor/Manager, providing individual, family, and group counseling and psychotherapy. You will develop treatment plans, maintain therapeutic relationships, respond to mental health emergencies, and coordinate community resources. Your role will also involve documentation of client interactions and participation in treatment conferences.
About You
Required:
- Master's Degree from a relevant accredited program or Bachelor's degree with 2 years' experience in social work or counseling.
- Valid LSW or LCDC III, LPC, MFT license.
Preferred:
- Experience working with clients with severe and persistent mental illness and substance use disorders.
- Strong organizational skills and effective interpersonal communication.
