About the Role
As a Community Habilitation Specialist, you will assist individuals with acquiring, maintaining, and enhancing skills for independent living and daily activities. Your responsibilities will include teaching appropriate social skills, providing supervision according to habilitation plans, completing required documentation, assisting with travel training, attending meetings and trainings, encouraging community participation, reporting incidents, and complying with agency policies and OPWDD regulations.
About You
Required:
- Possess a high school diploma/GED.
- At least one year of experience working with the intellectually/developmentally disabled population.
