About the Role
As a Community Health Worker, you will collaborate with local clinics to outreach to individuals who are out of care, conduct outreach in at-risk communities, refer clients to testing and medical services, and provide support throughout their care journey. You will also maintain client records and represent the agency at community events.
About You
Required:
- A minimum of two years’ experience in the field of HIV / AIDS.
- Demonstrated ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and interests.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communications.
Preferred:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Preference for candidates with a background similar to the target population or direct knowledge of HIV.
- Experience in community relations.
- Knowledge of HIV treatment education.
