About You
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and one (1) year of relevant work preferably in criminal justice or nonprofits.
- Experience in community work or community-centered activities.
- Strong communication skills and passion for community engagement.
- Professional public interaction and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to work on long-term complex investigations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Publisher.
- Willingness to learn construction and safety terminology.
- Interest in worker/immigrant rights, construction safety, and accountability.
- Spanish preferred but not required.

As first responders to fires, public safety and medical emergencies, disasters and terrorist acts, FDNY protects the lives and property of New York City residents and visitors.
