About the Role
As a Complex Claims Consultant, you will manage an inventory of highly complex commercial claims, ensuring exceptional customer service and timely resolution. Your responsibilities will include verifying coverage, conducting investigations, developing resolution strategies, negotiating settlements, and collaborating with internal and external partners. You will also mentor less experienced Claim Professionals and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; Juris Doctor preferred.
- Minimum six years of relevant experience, preferably with Professional Liability or Directors & Officers claims handling.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire.
Preferred:
- Prior negotiation experience.
- Professional designations such as CPCU.
