About the Role
As a Component/Document Control Engineer, you will collaborate with electrical engineers, mechanical design, and manufacturing teams to mitigate obsolescence and ensure reliable component utilization. Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining the company's component database, evaluating and testing components, handling component changes due to obsolescence, and supporting various departments with inquiries related to components.
About You
Required:
- 3-7 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Associates degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
- Versed in electro-mechanical and electronic component selection and specifications.
- Knowledge of design, manufacturing, materials, and processes for assembly.
- Experience with power electronics parts bench and in unit testing, failure analysis, and non-conformance resolution.
- Understanding of ERP, product and document management specifications.
Preferred:
- Knowledge and experience in working with lab instruments.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
