About the Role
As a Conference Center Event Manager, you will coordinate meetings, events, and conferences, ensuring logistics are managed efficiently. You will collaborate with vendors, oversee facility management, maintain inventory, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and provide excellent client service. Your responsibilities will include managing budgets, handling inquiries, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
About You
Required:
- 5 years of experience in a corporate conference center coordinating third-party vendors.
- Proven experience managing up to 7 direct reports.
- Ability to manage third-party vendors and deliver complete guest happiness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred:
- Experience interviewing, hiring, training, providing performance feedback and scheduling.
- Experience with AV systems and hybrid meeting technologies.
- 2-year/Associates College degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
