Summary
Amentum is seeking a Configuration Manager (CM) Analyst lvl 2 for the Space Force Range Contract in Vandenberg Village, CA. The role involves supporting baseline control of software and hardware configuration items and documentation.
About the Role
As a Configuration Manager Analyst lvl 2, you will be responsible for controlling and analyzing hardware and software baselines, reviewing change requests for compliance, performing audits on configuration items, and ensuring adherence to change management processes throughout the development life cycle. You will also analyze proposed product design changes and support the development and delivery of program documentation.
About You
Required:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience at a professional level.
- Two (2) years of relevant experience.
- Solid conflict management skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills with specific emphasis on attention to detail.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance.
Preferred:
- Experience in configuration management within a defense or aerospace environment.
- Familiarity with industry best practices for software and hardware configuration control.
