About the Role
As a Construction Coordinator, you will oversee the performance of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and schedule standards. You will collaborate with civil engineers on high voltage transmission line projects, manage project documentation, and support design teams with constructability reviews. Your responsibilities will include developing project proposals, cost estimates, and constructability plans, as well as participating in field trips for site investigations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or closely related discipline, or demonstrated proven equivalent experience.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant post-education experience as a certified high voltage lineman or substation wireman, and/or Professional Project Management (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Thorough understanding of transmission line construction procedures, specifications, drawings, bill of materials, bid units and estimates.
- Competent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and competent with technical writing and relevant software.
Preferred:
- Master's Degree.
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or equivalent certification.
- OSHA 30-hour safety certification or similar training credential.
- Experience managing field operations for major infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or other enterprise scheduling software.
