About the Role
As a Construction Defect Paralegal, you will support two attorneys in handling complex litigation matters. Your responsibilities will include drafting and managing legal documents, assisting with discovery, maintaining case files, coordinating court filings, managing litigation calendars, and preparing for depositions and trials. You will also conduct legal research and communicate with clients and experts as needed.
About You
Required:
- Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience supporting defense matters.
- Prior experience in insurance defense.
- Strong experience with California state court procedures and filings.
- Experience supporting complex litigation matters.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with federal court filings.
- ABA approved paralegal certificate.
