Summary
Telecon is seeking a Construction Health & Safety Advisor to join their team in Salt Lake City, UT. The role involves ensuring compliance with Health and Safety legislation and promoting a safety culture in the workplace and on job sites.
About the Role
As a Construction Health & Safety Advisor, you will conduct site inspections, lead incident investigations, review workplace assessments, support hazard assessments, and provide guidance on OSHA regulations. You will also participate in training initiatives, conduct audits, and collaborate with management and project teams to enhance health and safety practices.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in Health and Safety with a focus in construction.
- Completed OSHA 10- and 30-hour training.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Valid First Aid/CPR and other Safety related training.
- Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of relevant Health and Safety Regulations.
Preferred:
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- Experience in the telecommunication industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
