Jacobs is seeking a Construction Intern for FY2026 to join their team in Farmington, NM. The role involves gaining field knowledge in the construction industry, particularly in complex water facility projects.
About the Role
As a Construction Intern, you will learn and train with Project Engineers and Project Managers throughout construction and project closeout. Your responsibilities will include reviewing submittals, processing Requests for Information, updating as-built documentation, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, conducting inventory inspections, and daily reporting. You will also attend weekly construction meetings, promote jobsite safety, and apply critical thinking skills to resolve field problems.
About You
Required:
- Working towards a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Willingness to work on site and adhere to safety policies.
Preferred:
- 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Interest in a career in construction management of municipal water, water resources, and/or conveyance type work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with clear directions.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
