Jacobs is seeking a Construction Management- Electrical and I&C Work Package Owner (WPO) to join their team in Cary/Wilson, NC. The role involves managing construction projects related to advanced manufacturing facilities in the Life Sciences sector.
About the Role
As a Work Package Owner (WPO), you will be responsible for developing and delivering project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure project success, tackle challenges, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your role will also involve managing EI&C scopes of work and leading contractors and superintendents throughout the construction process.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 20+ years of experience as a general foreman, superintendent, or construction manager.
- Strong knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction processes, building systems, contract management, and project delivery methods.
- Expert knowledge of EI&C Systems, including Delta V and BMS.
- Experience in managing project budgets and scopes of work.
Preferred:
- 20+ years of experience in managing construction projects related to Life Science and/or Pharmaceutical Production Facility Construction.
- Ability to work with Engineering and Subcontracting to develop scopes of work for EI&C related bid packages.
- Pharma experience.
- Proficiency in software such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Bluebeam.
