Summary
Jobot is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join their team in Brighton, MI. The role involves supporting the expanding pipeline of light industrial, commercial, and institutional projects.
About the Role
As a Construction Project Engineer, you will assist Project Managers with RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Your responsibilities will include supporting document control, scheduling, and coordination with field teams, managing subcontractor communications, and maintaining project logs and records. You will also have the opportunity to learn from experienced PMs and superintendents to grow your skill set.
About You
Required:
- 1–3 years of experience with a commercial general contractor (internships count)
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a similar field
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Desire to grow into a Project Manager role
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software
