Summary

About the Role
As a Construction SSHO, you will be responsible for protecting the safety and health of personnel on the airfield site, creating and implementing the Health and Safety Plan, evaluating personnel, leading daily safety meetings, conducting site training, and investigating incidents. You will also ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain documentation related to safety and health data.
About You
Required:
- Must have a current First Aid and CPR Training/AED.
- Must have completed the 30 hour OSHA Construction Industry Safety Class.
- 10 years of Site Safety Health Officer (SSHO) experience in a similar project or a college degree with 5 years of construction industry safety experience.
- Experience supervising or managing safety programs or processes.
Preferred:
- 24 hours of documented formal or online safety and health related coursework in the past 3 years.
- Training in Personal Protective Equipment, Hazard Communication, Excavation, Fall Protection, Confined Spaces, and Health Hazard Recognition.
