Ramboll is seeking a Construction Superintendent - Structural to join their team in Central NY, overseeing the structural construction phase of data center projects.
About the Role
As a Construction Superintendent - Structural, you will manage and oversee the structural construction phase of data center projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and schedules. You will coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and clients, manage project budgets and schedules, conduct site inspections, enforce safety regulations, and lead a team of engineers and subcontractors.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in construction project management with a focus on structural construction.
- Proven experience managing structural construction projects in data centers or similar mission-critical projects.
- Strong knowledge of structural design, engineering principles, and construction practices.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- In-depth understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and structural codes.
Preferred:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification.
- Experience with Uptime Institute Tier standards and mission-critical facility design.
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training.
- Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) and its application in structural construction.
