Syner-G is seeking a Consultant to support core technical operations within the Cell Line Development (CLD) group in Southern California. This entry-level role is designed for early-career scientific professionals interested in laboratory execution and strategic life sciences consulting.
About the Role
As a Consultant, you will maintain and bank mammalian cell lines, execute transfections, conduct single-cell cloning, perform analytical assays, and ensure data integrity through comprehensive documentation. You will collaborate with various teams to support the development of lead candidates in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
About You
Required:
- MS or PhD in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related biological science.
- Demonstrated competency in aseptic mammalian cell culture and basic molecular biology techniques.
Preferred:
- 2-5 years of relevant laboratory experience for MS candidates.
- 0-3 years of relevant laboratory experience for PhD candidates.
- Experience working in a BSL-2 laboratory environment.
