EY is seeking a Senior Manager for Consulting in Healthcare - Payer Actuarial to join their team. This role involves providing actuarial and analytical leadership across complex client engagements in the healthcare sector.
About the Role
As a Senior Manager in Healthcare Consulting, you will lead actuarial workstreams, oversee claims trend analyses, support product pricing, and provide actuarial leadership on valuation and reserving services. You will partner with technology teams to apply advanced analytics and AI tools, manage complex consulting engagements, and develop thought leadership materials.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
- Approximately 10+ years of actuarial experience, with significant experience in healthcare and/or insurance.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in actuarial science, finance, or a related field.
- Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, ACA, or other government-sponsored programs.
- Experience leveraging advanced analytics, automation, or AI tools in actuarial or financial contexts.
