About the Role
As a Consumer Banking Relationship Specialist, you will be responsible for cultivating professional relationships with customers, utilizing assessment tools to uncover their financial needs, and making appropriate recommendations. Your daily tasks will include opening and servicing deposit accounts, processing transactions, and collaborating with team members to ensure exceptional customer service. You will also participate in business development activities and demonstrate the bank's values and standards for customer service.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1+ year experience interacting with people and displaying excellent service skills.
- Basic knowledge of personal finance and household budgeting.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of, experience with, and ability to explain bank products, online banking, mobile banking applications, banking cards, etc.
- Experience in retail customer service and/or sales.
- NMLS preferred (required for lending activities).
