Summary

About the Role
As a Consumer Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting patients with managed care eligibility, processing benefit services, and serving as a backup for primary Business Office duties such as Registration and Medical Records. You will work closely with patients to resolve issues and ensure they receive the necessary support.
About You
Required:
- High school graduate or General Educational Development (GED) Certificate with two years of experience in a community organization solving consumer problems.
- Must pass pre-employment Spanish exam and demonstrate fluidity in translating, reading, and writing.
- Current CA Driver’s License, valid vehicle insurance, and an available vehicle required.
Preferred:
- Certified Application Assistant (CAA) Certificate.
- Certified Enrollment Counselor (CEC) by Covered CA.
- Prior experience in or working knowledge of a managed care environment.
- Some knowledge and understanding of medical terminology and billing codes.
- Prior experience as a Registration Clerk.
