Summary
North LA County Regional Center (NLACRC) is seeking a Consumer Services Supervisor to join their team in Santa Clarita, CA. The role involves providing information, advocacy, and service arrangement for consumers and families with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
About the Role
As a Consumer Services Supervisor, you will participate in the development of program plans for individuals, monitor and evaluate these plans, and coordinate services for individuals and their families. You will document and complete forms in accordance with regulations, serve as an advocate for individuals, and attend interdisciplinary meetings. The position requires identifying barriers to service delivery and implementing culturally sensitive strategies, as well as rotating officer-of-the-day duties and providing emergency on-call services when required.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or related human services field with five years of Regional Center experience, or a Master's degree in a related field with two years of related professional/leadership experience, or a Master’s Degree in an unrelated field with three to five years of related professional/leadership experience.
- Three years of professional experience should include service coordination at a Regional Center or related experiences.
Preferred:
- Previous experience with mental health/dual diagnosis, crisis intervention, and knowledge of forensic/judicial systems.
- Bilingual Spanish may be required depending upon position.
