About the Role
As a Consumer Transaction Monitoring Investigator, you will be responsible for conducting meticulous reviews of potential illegal or suspicious activity, completing time-sensitive analyses of Anti-Money Laundering activity, assessing customer profiles, documenting findings, and making determinations for potential Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) filings.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in Transaction Monitoring and SAR preparation.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines (e.g., BSA, OFAC, FinCEN guidance).
- Experience working with manual and system generated alerts/cases for the detection of potentially suspicious activity.
- Ability to assess risks and identify deviations.
- Solid Excel skills.
Preferred:
- 3+ years of experience assessing and reviewing system generated and manual AML alerts and/or escalations/SAR write-ups for potentially suspicious activity.
- CAMS or ICA certification.
- Experience with OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) Techniques.
