About the Role
As a Stationary Engineer, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on various HVAC equipment, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, inspect HVAC assets, execute service work involving refrigerant circuits, monitor system performance, interface with Building Management Systems, coordinate with external contractors, respond to HVAC emergencies, maintain documentation, and promote safe work practices.
About You
Required:
- Strong technical background in commercial HVAC service and maintenance.
- Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Proficient in reading wiring diagrams and equipment manuals.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- EPA Section 608 certification or ability to obtain it.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred:
- Completion of an HVAC apprenticeship or equivalent technical training.
- 4+ years of commercial HVAC experience.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and use ladders up to 12 ft.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and internet navigation.
