JPMorganChase is seeking a Control Manager for Marketing and Communications - Vice President to join their team in New York, NY. The role involves oversight and governance of the CIB Marketing and CIB Communications control environment.
About the Role
As a Control Manager Vice President, you will be responsible for delivering an enterprise-wide framework to manage control-related processes, developing and managing the end-to-end process for identification and remediation of control issues, and monitoring the effectiveness of control implementation. You will collaborate with functional leads to identify risks and perform ongoing monitoring of the operational risk and control environment.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 7 years of financial services experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance.
- Proficient knowledge of control and risk management concepts, including Risk & Control Self-Assessment.
- Experience driving strategic regulatory initiatives to address key control requirements.
- Strong verbal, written, and technical communication skills; strong presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Preferred:
- Experience working in an information technology area/environment (e.g., IT Auditing, Programming Controls, Data Management and Governance).
- Strong understanding of Data and Analytics.
- Excellent influence skills for engaging stakeholders and driving organizational change.
- Competence in quantitative reporting for data governance and control reporting.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
