Summary
Jobot is seeking a Controller - Global Markets Finance to join their team in greater NYC. The role involves overseeing financial reporting, controls, and operational finance for a large-scale, regulated trading and capital markets division.
About the Role
As a Controller, you will partner with the CFO to support Global Markets Trading, ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and leading financial operations. Your responsibilities will include managing monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, preparing financial performance reports, enhancing internal controls, and mentoring junior finance staff.
About You
Required:
- CPA required; FINRA Series 27 (Financial and Operations Principal) a strong plus.
- 10–15+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience in large financial institutions or multi-entity trading environments.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, regulatory reporting, and consolidation accounting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and accounting system transitions.
Preferred:
- Proven ability to partner with senior executives and boards.
- Experience leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
