Summary
Beghou is seeking a senior-level Controller to lead and scale their accounting function in Evanston, IL. This critical leadership position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and involves partnering closely with executive leadership.
About the Role
As the Controller, you will own and lead the month-end close processes, ensure compliance with GAAP, improve revenue recognition processes, oversee tax-related matters, and manage treasury operations. You will also lead a growing accounting team, develop scalable workflows, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA required.
- 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility.
- Deep technical accounting expertise with strong GAAP knowledge.
- Experience in professional services and/or consulting environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with executive leadership and present complex topics clearly.
- International accounting experience, preferably in India, Canada, and Europe.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based ERP systems, specifically Sage Intacct.
Preferred:
- Experience in a private equity-backed organization.
- Experience with Ramp, Planful, HubSpot, ADP, Power BI, or Tableau.
