Summary
Jobot is seeking a Controller to join their leadership team in Houston, TX. The role involves leading the finance function and supporting ongoing expansion in a growing manufacturing company.
About the Role
As a Controller, you will oversee all aspects of financial systems, including the creation of financial reports, direct investment activities, and implementation of cash/capital improvement strategies. You will manage the accounting department, direct financial planning and budget management, monitor monthly operating results, and collaborate with the management team to develop financial strategies.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in Manufacturing Accounting, Annual Budgeting, Financial Statements, and Cash Flow.
- Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including GAAP.
Preferred:
- MBA, CPA, or related certification.
- Exceptional knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.
