About the Role
As a Controls Automation Technician, you will be responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing problems in automation, instrumentation, and controls systems. Your daily tasks will include reading and translating PLC code, installing electrical components, troubleshooting industrial networks, and maintaining accurate records in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). You will also ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety requirements.
About You
Required:
- 3 years of integration/engineering/maintenance background, including PLCs, HMIs, Servos, VFDs, electrical, hydraulics, controls, and pneumatics.
- Ability to read one-line diagrams, P&ID, blueprints, and schematics.
- Must supply own tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in extreme temperatures.
Preferred:
- Experience with advanced programming techniques and configurations in industrial control systems.
- Knowledge of calibration procedures for process instruments.
