About the Role

As a Controls Technician, you will configure, set up, and calibrate end devices on factory or field-installed hardware, create and program site databases, verify system performance using engineering documentation, troubleshoot communication links and local area networks, provide technical assistance to installation subcontractors, diagnose BAS and system problems remotely or on-site, maintain accurate project documentation, provide remote access information, represent the company in customer interactions, conduct on-site owner training classes, participate in ongoing training, and maintain company materials and compliance with dress code and regulations. The role requires travel approximately 50% of the time and occasional on-call duties.

About You

Required:

Associates degree in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited institution
3+ years of related experience
Knowledge and understanding of communications protocols including BACnet, LonTalk, and Modbus
Familiarity with networking applications such as Ethernet, TCP-IP, IP Networks and infrastructure
Proficiency with computer devices and software including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Apple iOS
Ability to pass drug screening
Ability to prove US employment eligibility
Valid driver's license

Preferred:

Experience with Trane, Tridium, and/or Teletrol building automation systems
Experience with other control manufacturers such as Johnson Controls, Schneider, Honeywell, Siemens, Distech
