About the Role
As a Cook, you will be responsible for the overall function of kitchen and dining room services during your shift. Your duties will include meal preparation, supervising Dietary Aides, ensuring food safety practices are followed, and serving residents in a friendly manner. You will also act as a role model to other staff and complete additional duties as assigned by the Dietary Director.
About You
Required:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must have the required annual Tuberculosis (TB) testing and Annual Health Assessment.
- Must be aware of and apply the standards of sanitary food preparation.
- Must have the required references and criminal record check.
Preferred:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of experience in the food service industry.
