About the Role
As a Cook at Benchmark Transitions, you will prepare food according to sanitary regulations, follow planned menus, assist in serving meals, handle daily cleaning duties, prepare shopping lists, and ensure food storage areas are clean and well-organized. You will also maintain timely meal preparation and coordinate with the clinical team as needed, while being flexible to handle emergency situations and work extended shifts if required.
About You
Required:
- 1-2 years of experience in food service.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid California Driver’s License and San Bernardino County Food Handler’s Card.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
- Flexibility to handle a fast-paced environment and occasional overtime.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
