As a Cook- Acute, you will be responsible for planning and preparing foods according to facility policies and dietary guidelines. Your duties will include managing food inventory, ensuring safe food storage, directing staff in meal preparation, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. You will also monitor food temperatures and meal counts, and apply culinary techniques for special dietary needs.
About You
Required:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Two or more years’ experience in food service role in preparing food for institutions, such as school, hospital or cafeteria.
SERV Safe Certification or similar food safety certification, where required by the state, facility.
