About the Role
As a Cook As Needed, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner for on-premises dining and delivery to remote sites. Your duties will include monitoring food during the cooking process, regulating cooking temperatures, packaging meals for delivery, maintaining food inventory, and ensuring the highest levels of sanitation in the kitchen.
About You
Required:
- Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications.
- Six months experience as a food service worker, in catering or food preparation.
- First Aid/CPR certified and possess a food handler card within 30 days of hire.
Preferred:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Training in foods, nutrition, dietetics, and/or food preparation.
- Familiarity with automated dietary information systems for tracking menu and inventory.
