About the Role
As a Cook, you will be responsible for reviewing menus prior to food preparation, assisting in the development and coordination of department policies and procedures, interpreting these policies to staff and residents, planning diet menus as prescribed by physicians, coordinating food services with other departments, and ensuring compliance with food service procedures.
About You
Required:
- Must have Illinois Food Service Sanitation certification.
- Must be able to read, speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
Preferred:
- One (1) year dietary/food experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
