Summary

About the Role

As a Cook, you will plan, prepare, and serve meals in conjunction with the Food Services Manager. You will maintain a sanitary work environment, monitor food donations and inventory, and help create a comfortable atmosphere for clients. Additional responsibilities include cleaning and organizing the freezer, cooler, and pantry, overseeing the daily food pantry operations, and providing seasonal support as needed. Flexibility to work nights and weekends is required.

About You

Required:

High School diploma or equivalent.
One year of food service experience.
Must have completed the Restaurant Servsafe Certification program or will complete within six (6) months of hire.
Must have a valid driver's license and pass MVR requirements for Salvation Army insurance.

Preferred:

Computer literate and knowledgeable of MS Office.
