Jobot is seeking a Corporate Paralegal / Venture Capital to join their prestigious national law firm in New York, NY. The role involves assisting with company formations, venture capital financings, and providing support in mergers and acquisitions.
About the Role
As a Corporate Paralegal, you will assist with company formations and venture capital financings of private companies. You will provide support in mergers and acquisitions, limited and general partnerships, IPOs, and other securities offerings. Additionally, you will assist clients with aspects of stock incentive program administration, ensuring compliance with state and federal securities laws.
About You
Required:
- Significant experience with Securities and/or general Corporate Law.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Excellent interpersonal, written (grammar, spelling, format) and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to effectively handle shifting priorities and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Carta, or similar platforms.
- Could be an opportunity to train/lead teams.
