Seminole Electric Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to join their team in Tampa, FL. The role involves providing legal support to counsel and liaising with business units, outside counsel, and third parties.
About the Role
As a Corporate Paralegal, you will be responsible for gathering and preparing materials for legal counsel, assisting with electronic data collection and review, leading corporate legal initiatives, conducting legal research, managing legal software data, drafting and managing contracts, and ensuring corporate compliance. You will also assist with transaction closings and maintain department efficiency.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years of equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with litigation technology databases and Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Graduate degree.
- Experience in legal research and contract management.
- Ability to interact with all levels of corporate structure.
