About the Role
As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will be responsible for leading tax engagements, developing tax strategies, and serving as the primary client contact. Your daily tasks will include reviewing complex tax returns, managing client relationships, conducting research on tax laws, and training junior staff. You will also ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services.
About You
Required:
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting or a tax concentration from an accredited college/university.
- A CPA or EA license.
- Minimum 5 years of tax service experience in a public accounting firm.
- Experience preparing individual, business, benefit fund, real estate, and exempt organization tax returns.
- Strong computer skills: proficiency in tax accounting software, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Business level proficiency in English and dual business level proficiency in Japanese.
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
Preferred:
- Tax Manager experience.
- Experience with transfer pricing studies.
