About the Role

As a Correctional Counselor III, you will provide leadership in the classification and housing of incarcerated individuals, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. You will work to improve the classification process to adapt to changing demographics and implement best practices. The role involves collaboration with various departments and community partners to enhance public safety and promote successful reintegration of individuals into society.

About You

Required:

Possession of Minimum Qualifications as outlined in the Class Specification for Correctional Counselor III.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships within the department and with external agencies.

Preferred:

Experience in a correctional or rehabilitation setting.
Knowledge of classification processes and best practices in correctional facilities.
