About the Role
As a Corrections Case Worker, you will be responsible for evaluating offenders, participating in follow-up services, and monitoring inmate activities. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure proper classification and reentry processes for inmates, applying Good Time Laws and utilizing tracking systems.
About You
Required:
- Associate Degree from an accredited college or university in Guidance and Counseling, Penology, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Family Studies/Services, Criminology, or related field.
- Two years of experience in a correctional setting, records management, case management, or related fields.
Preferred:
- Experience in assisting interdisciplinary teams in the evaluation of offenders.
- Knowledge of the inmate classification process and reentry process.
