Summary
Jobot is seeking a Cosmos SDK Senior Protocol Engineer to join their fully remote team. The role involves designing, documenting, and implementing backend architectures for blockchain systems using Golang, CosmosSDK, and CometBFT.
About the Role
As a Senior Protocol Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining protocols for distributed and blockchain systems. You will work closely with the development team to build and maintain a highly scalable and robust blockchain infrastructure, develop smart contracts on Ethereum and other platforms, and troubleshoot issues in various environments. Your role will also include participating in code reviews and architectural discussions.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in protocol engineering, focusing on blockchain and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in GoLang.
- Experience with distributed systems and blockchain systems (Cosmos and Ethereum).
- Strong knowledge of the blockchain industry, including the Ethereum platform and smart contracts.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred:
- Experience leveraging CosmosSDK, CometBFT, Ethermint, IBC.
- Experience with Kubernetes and AWS.
