Summary
Integrated Water Services is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team in Brenham, TX. The role involves supporting manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and operational decision-making for the plant.
About the Role
As a Cost Accountant, you will manage standard costs, BOMs, cost rollups, and inventory valuation. You will lead cycle counts, physical inventories, and WIP/COGS analysis, analyze cost variances, and recommend improvements. Additionally, you will support financial modeling, dashboards, and margin initiatives, process AP transactions, assist with month-end close, and partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering on cost decisions.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years in manufacturing cost accounting, plant finance or related role.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with major ERP systems (NetSuite a plus).
- Hands-on experience with inventory management processes (cycle counts, physical inventories, valuation).
- Multi-entity manufacturing background.
- Ability to work on-site in Brenham at least 3 days per week.
Preferred:
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
