HunaTek is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to join their team in Edgewood, MD. The role involves performing comprehensive cost analyses for government programs and managing budget requirements.

About the Role

As a Senior Cost Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting life cycle cost estimates, developing Cost Analysis Requirements Descriptions, leading program office estimate activities, and managing cost models. You will also forecast funding needs, evaluate contracting strategies, and prepare briefing materials for management. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.

About You

Required:

US Citizenship is required.
Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency with uncertainty/risk software packages.
Knowledge of Government Acquisition Programs.
Ability to lead detail-oriented tasks and multi-task under minimal supervision.
Ability to present analytical results to senior leaders/stakeholders.
Ability to manage and work with large data sets.
Possession of excellent data gathering and analytical skills.
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred:

Proficiency with Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT), Crystal Ball or SEER for IT.
Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA®) or Professional Cost Estimator/Analyst (PCEA®) certification.
Prior experience in Navy/Marine Corps sector.
Prior experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition Programs (ACAT I-IV).
Prior financial management and program management experience.
